Business Connections
We hold a Business Connections event at Leader Composite School. Our goal is to help our youth connect with local business leaders that can give them advice, education requirements, summer jobs, information about positions available, and if they offer training coverage. We also touch base about career goals they have. In the event where anyone would like to come back to stay in Leader to start their careers then we can connect them with the right people to help assist them in making their dreams a realization.
Wild West Daze
June 13th-15th Leader puts on an amazing event filled with a variety of activities throughout the weekend including a slow pitch tournament, parade, pancake breakfast, gribble, mud bog, dance, tractor pull, kids activities and outdoor movie.
Sidewalk Sales
June 13th -21st, 2024 we will be holding Sidewalk Sales were our local businesses offer lots of specials and deals all week long.
Marketplace Kickoff
June 21st, 2025 we hold our annual Marketplace Kickoff! There will be a variety of vendors ,drinks, hamburgers and hotdogs for sale. Make sure to bring a lawn-chair and cash for vendors. Come on down and enjoy the live music and mingling!
Sandhills Credit Union Marketplace
Starting June 26th until September 4th every Thursday we hold regular Markets from 11-3pm.
Young Entrepreneur's Market
Throughout the summer season we hold a handful of Young Entrepreneurs Markets to encourage our youth to try their hand at business and create new products. This year's dates are July 8th, July 23rd, August 6th, and August 27th, from 11-2pm. If you would like to book a booth it is $5 and you can call or text 1-306-628-7887.
Art Night
Every August we put on an evening to appreciate the Arts with live music, kids activities and a variety of Art vendors displaying and selling their products.
Old Fashioned Fall Market
October 5th from 4:30-7:30pm we hold an old Fashioned Fall Fair. Our booths are filled with vendors selling Fall/Halloween themed products. There is a pie baking contest and once the pies have been judged you can purchase a slice with all the donations going to our local food bank. The streets are lined with beautiful vehicles for a Show N' Shine. This year we will be holding Polka Lessons from 3-4pm . Free Apple Cider will be served and take a photo at our Fall themed backdrop to remember the occasion.
Chamber of Commerce Christmas Party
December 7th, 2024 we hold our annual Community Christmas Party where everyone is welcome to enjoy a wonderful night out. There is a photo wall, a delicious supper and entertainment for the evening.
Santa Night
Santa Night is held the first Thursday of December every night. Santa night has late night shopping with deals and treats available at the local businesses and you can also get a stamp in our Holiday passports to win Leader Dollars. There is Santa photos with treat bags, a bonfire, wagon rides, hot chocolate stand, free hotdogs, carolling, and fireworks.
